My current ISP advertises internet speed of 100 Mbps but I actually get about 65 Mbps which does not surprise me because the signal is running over copper wires. Will your fiber optic speeds degrade like that too? After all, the fiber gets too my house but the signal is still going to be going over the network wires in my house, correct?
What about compatible routers that can take advantage of the potentially higher speeds?
